Edward the Vampire: As I was lying in the grass, glistening in the sun as I so often do, I was awoken by the deafening roar of cheers to the beginning of the first act of junior’s homecoming skit. Bella the Beautiful: Did you recognize it? They were singing the a capella version of the Indiana Jones theme song. It was a really original way to start their performances. Justin Bieber: As I pulled into the horseshoe parking lot I was struck by the attention-grabbing “Now Playing: West Side Sophomores” sign at the edge of the amphitheater. In fact, all of the decorations made me feel as though I had been transported to the Upper West Side of 1950s New York City. As Brad left his AP Physics class and met Angelina on her way out of AP Calc, they were enchanted by the mass of blue surrounding the amphitheater. Little Red Riding Hood: Well, after three days of anticipation, I walked into the amphitheater expecting the glory of the senior performance. I was so excited! Darth Vader: Gliding into the amphitheater, I was assaulted by yellow. Chewbacca: The streamers over the N-Wing door were entangled in my hairy back, though I did admire their novelty. DV: Indeed, their decorations were everywhere. I found it ingenious that streamers were covering all plant life in the N-Wing. CB: The cardboard cutouts were quite lifelike, and I got scared.
