During lunch on February 19-22 in the bell tower quad , English Teacher John Boegman will be hosting a Temple Run 2 Tournament to raise money for his Relay for Life team benefiting the American Cancer Society (ACS). Participants bring their own device to play each day, as well as a $1 donation to be eligible to compete for prizes like gift cards to Starbucks or Jamba Juice. All proceeds will be donated to the ACS through MSJ’s Relay for Life, an event in May that is run and organized by students.
There are three divisions within the tournament: Novice (first to fifth level in unlocking achievements), Intermediate (between sixth and tenth level in unlocking achievements), and “Crazy Mad Skills” (greater than tenth level in unlocking achievements). A “Leader Board” will display the top results standings after each day of the tournament and will be posted at www.msjhs.org/Page/10689. Winners will be decided after the third day of competition and awards will be presented on Friday.
